New Music Friday

Hola everyone.

How are you all doing today? All enjoying the beautiful weather we’ve been blessed with the past days? Because I definitely have. Actually, I’ve caught myself thinking I’m already on my summer break more than once, which just shows how 1. long I’ve been at home already and 2. how good the weather has been. And I’m not sure whether I like that or not, because, you know, climate change and all that. I guess all of us staying at home is probably the best thing that could’ve happened to the environment right now. I hope once this virus crisis is finally over, everyone’s going to try and fight climate change just as aggressively as we’re all currently fighting this asshat Corona. Our beautiful planet deserves it.

.

I know, I just made a huge detour and got completely off-topic. I haven’t even presented today’s post and what it’s going to be all about yet. But I guess you all saw the title of the post, so here’s the probably weirdest way of announcing another fantastic edition of “New Music Friday”. In a nutshell, all of these songs have been with me during this hell of a crazy time and have kept me on the bright side of things. They’ve pulled me up when I was feeling down on another “what festival got canceled today”-day. They put a smile on my face when it seemed like everything was going more than wrong. And they gave a normal, plain day that little extra to become a highlight. So I’m more than excited to share all of these with you. I hope you love them just as much as me. Please enjoy.

.
OK – Wallows

Well, who would’ve thought I’d ever get this addicted to this band and get to call them one of my favourite bands right now? Definitely not me when I first heard ‘Pictures Of Girls’ two years ago. But here I am now, deep down in an intense obsession with Wallow’s newest track called ‘OK’, which couldn’t be any more perfect to listen to while the world outside is literally getting turned on its head – which has basically been happening the past two months. So, in a nutshell, it’s definitely the most perfect song for quarantine and if you haven’t listened to it yet, you should definitely check it out ASAP. Also, Dylan’s blue hair looks amazing and I’m kinda jealous that he can actually pull it off.

.

Feels So Nice – The Wrecks

I mean, I’ve already dedicated a whole post to the new album of this super amazing indie-rock group from the US, but here we are again because sharing The Wrecks’ new stuff with you all once just isn’t enough (see the first post here). ‘Feels So Nice’ right here has been an absolute favourite of mine ever since it got released and so far I haven’t been able to get it out of my head, so here you have it too, so we’re all in this boat together. Please give it a listen, it’s phenomenal.

.

Level Of Concern – Twenty One Pilots

I think you and me both know that I don’t really have to introduce this band nor to explain why their newest hit ‘Level of Concern’ is part of this list (see the original post about the song right here). My boys went and created the number one song for quarantine and nobody can tell me otherwise. Also, Ro is in the video, so it can’t really be beaten by any other music video out there. And, because I only just heard the news today – huge congrats to Josh and Debby for getting married when we all knew they did. I’m honestly super happy for them. If you give the video a shot, try to spot Josh’s ring. Another huge giveaway.

.

The Key to Life on Earth – Declan McKenna

I’m going to be honest, whenever I put this song on at home, my parents look at me as if I had just started to play some cringy Austrian folk music or something on that level of crappy. And, to be real, I still don’t get how they’re not overly in love with this song. Declan has always been an important part of my ‘favourite songs’-playlist and I’m super happy to share this new record with all of you. Not only because the track is more than great, but also because the video can only be described as art in itself – I mean, just look at it. Go on.

.

Black Licorice – Peach Pit

Do you know those days when you just feel like everything’s going all wrong and you’re just not meant to be in a certain place? Moments when you feel like you’re not really wanted or needed? A bit like black licorice? Well, if yes, then this song right here is perfect for you, because it’s about those exact moments, but instead of pulling you down, it’s a beautiful piece of music that can be enjoyed not just when you feel a bit down, but also when you feel like anything but black licorice. That’s how magnificent the song is right here. I applaud you, Peach Pit.

.

Is Everybody Going Crazy? – Nothing But Thieves

I’m not going to lie, I couldn’t describe the past two months in any better words than the title of this song does even if I wanted to. Because that’s just how it’s been and somehow Nothing But Thieves managed to write a song way way way before the actual crisis which couldn’t fit it any better. Imagine that? You write a song a year before an event that makes it seem like you just wrote that same song for that exact moment. And then on top of that, the song turns out to be freaking awesome. How cool is that?

.

I Don’t Think I Can Do This Again – Mura Masa ft. Clairo

I think every good music playlist needs a nice EDM-ish song in the midst of it, so here is mine for this month. This time, happily presented to you by the amazing Mura Masa featuring Clairo. To cut it short, the track is incredibly fun to listen to and always manages to pull me up and get me hyped whenever I need it the most and I hope it does the same for you.

.

Cinnamon – Hayley Williams

Last but certainly not least, here’s is once again my favourite female singer, the one and only Hayley Williams with my favourite song of her recently released solo album ‘Petals for Armor’. This song is literally the coolest womanhood anthem I’ve ever heard and it makes me feel at peace with myself and connected to my feminity in such a cool way that my appreciation for this track hasn’t found its end yet. Also, the music video for it is absolutely baffling and I still have a lot of questions. Well freaking done, Hayley.

.

And there it is, guys, this is it for this month’s ‘New Music Friday’. I hope you enjoyed/enjoy listening to the songs as much as I enjoy sharing them with you. I’d really love to hear your opinions and thoughts, so please don’t hesitate to leave them down below in the comment section. And until then, I wish you all a super lovely weekend, hope you’re doing well and, as always, thanks for reading. x

New Music Monday

Hola everyone.

And welcome back to my blog and another New Music post. This time, a Monday one. I thought I’d change it up a bit and start this week off by sharing all the songs and hits we’ve you that I’ve fallen in love with over the past few weeks. As always, I hope you enjoy them just as much as I do. Oh, and I hope you’ve all had an amazing weekend. And that the following songs will make this week even better for you. So, without further ado, let’s get right to it, shall we?

.

It Won’t Always Be Like this – Inhaler

I present to you my current favourite song. And I know, who, why, what? Well, basically, I saw this band together with my mum at the Great Escape festival about two weeks ago and immediately fell in love with them. Not only are they amazing live, but all of their songs are fantastic as well. And I might just add that Elijah, the lead singer, is the son of Bono, so now you know where they get their talent from. I seriously can’t get enough of this band and am so excited for what’s to come for them in the future.

.

.

Hi – Indoor Pets

Another amazing band I got to see at the Great Escape festival. And oh wow, what a show it was. If you’ve ever had the desire to see a moshpit in a tiny room, packed with about a hundred people, go and see them, because they sure can guarantee a energetic-moshpit-packed concert. I loved every single second of their set and am so glad I found them.

.

.

Lula, I’m Not Mad – Hunny

Honestly, I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve already listened to this hit right here. I mean, I’ve always been a big fan of Hunny, basically, because their music is freaking awesome. But now that their new album is just about to be released and they’ve put out this gem, I’m even more excited. If you ever feel like you need a bit of a happy push, go and listen to this song. It works miracles, trust me.

.

.

Satellite – Two Door Cinema Club

I think I don’t really need to explain why this song is part of this list, right? I mean, TDCC has been MY band since 2013, ever since my very first concert, so yeah. I love them deeply and literally cannot wait for their upcoming album. Also, I’ll be seeing them live again at the beginning of July, together with The 1975, so you could say it will be like 2013 all over again. A family reunion, how lovely. Also, the video for this song is so good and so bad at the same time, I love it.

.

.

Devil Town – Cavetown

Another very recent find of mine, thanks to the amazing lineup of Sziget festival. They added a few last names a couple of weeks ago and, lucky for me, Cavetown was one of those names. I’m honestly so excited to see him at Sziget, it will be such a great show.

.

.

Headspace – Lewis Capaldi

Oh, how long I’ve been waiting to finally be able to listen to this song over and over again. Quick storytime for context: when I saw Lewis last year in October here in Brighton, I wasn’t as big of a fan as I am today. So I was standing there, in the crowd, taking it all in when he began singing this very song. Suddenly the crowd went really quiet and all I could hear was Lewis and his guitar. And while I stood there, listening to him sing, I knew that I was witnessing something utterly magical. I cried. And fell deeply in love with Lewis and his talent. A few weeks after that I saw him again in London, cried once more and now, nearly half a year later, his new album is finally out, with this song on it. Whenever I listen to it, I’m immediately thrown back to the show in Brighton and feel this incredible gratitude. That’s what Lewis’ music does to you.

.

.

So, there you go, guys, these are all the songs I’ve been loving the most the past few weeks. As already mentioned, I really hope that you enjoy them just as much I do. As always, please don’t hesitate to leave your thoughts and comments down below. And until then I wish you all a great week, and, of course, thanks for reading. x

The Lemon Tunes

Hola everyone.

And welcome back to another Friday. A musical Friday again, but in a quite different way. Since starting this blog and really getting into music, I wanted to set up a playlist, solely for this blog, to kind of go with it. I know I always add in YouTube links to my posts about music, when I share my new favorite tracks and stuff, but a real playlist on Spotify just is something completely different. Bottom line: it was well overdue, but, finally, here it is. The official ‘thatlemonlife’-playlist.

.

As you can probably tell, I had the most fun creating this. Plainly because it meant I could go through all of my saved songs and different playlists on Spotify and pretty much choose my absolute favorites. And you know how much I love sharing my music. So this is an actual dream come true for me, which again brings up the question why I only just now created this… Oh well, better late than never, right?

.

As usual, I hope you enjoy these songs just as much as I do. Honestly, I’d love to hear your opinions and thoughts. And even if you don’t like some, I’d love to hear from you nonetheless. Some of you might know some of the songs from our usual “New Music Friday” section or from one of my countless posts about my current favorite songs and albums. Some songs basically represent my childhood and my teen years, some songs are very recent and some might be super popular and some might be completely new to you. What they all have in common though is that I love them with all of my heart. And if I’m gonna be honest, this playlist is literally me as a playlist. The playlist is me and everything I love when it comes to music. And this might sound creepy now, but when you’re listening to it, you’re basically listening to my soul. And isn’t that the most beautiful thing ever?

.

.

So yeah, there’s that. Honestly, I’d be super happy and thankful if you gave the playlist a listen and maybe even told me your verdict. I’ll try to update it regularly and add new songs to it whenever I can, so it’ll definitely be worth a visit here and there. And yeah, until then I hope you enjoy the songs and this post and wish you all an amazing weekend. And, as always, thanks for reading. x

2018: Wrapped

Hola everyone.

And welcome back to another Music Saturday (yeah, it’s Saturday today, just go with it). And yes, I know, shouldn’t there be a ‘New’ in there? And yes, you’re right, there usually should, but this time I left it out on purpose, because today is a very special Music Day. Because, just as the year is coming to an end, it’s also time to wrap up the year music-wise. And what a year 2018 was. A year full of amazing music. Special music. Exciting music. It’s all in there, in the folder of 2018, waiting to be discovered by you.

And just as every year, the lovely people of Spotify made it a lot easier for us all to wrap this year up. Since getting myself a premium account, the yearly statistics of my own musical behavior have been a highlight for me and something I’ve been looking forward to for weeks. And just like the two years before, they are more than accurate. But have a look for yourself.

I might just have to add that Tom has now been my favorite artist for two years straight and, honestly, I’m not surprised, not even a bit. Tom is simply an incredible artist and I absolutely adore his music. It’s that type of music that just fits every occasion. Whether it’s when I’m cooking, writing, going for a walk, shopping in the mall or just chilling, I can always have it on and it will always fit perfectly. That’s just what Tom does. He makes perfect music. And I feel more than honored and grateful that I’ll finally get to see him live next year in London. I can’t wait, honestly.

And besides that, the whole statistics are pretty much spot on. We all know why Ed is on there (obviously), The Academic were a huge phase for me at the beginning of this year due to their amazing show in Vienna (I still am deeply in love with their music, of course) and both Hippo Campus and TØP released two breathtaking albums, which, by the way, are the top two albums of the year for me. Nothing can beat those two, nothing. At least for me.

So, overall, the statistics don’t really surprise me in any way, they just make me endlessly happy. I love that I got to spend 21.538 minutes listening to amazing music this year and that I got to share most of that fantastic music with you guys. Music is just such a huge part of my life and now that I’m on my way of turning exactly that part into my career, I’m just even more thankful and happy. This is all very crazy and very special to me. And at the end of the day it’s all thanks to those incredible bands and artists out there who produce and create this art so we can all go and listen to and enjoy it.

But, as this is a Music Day, we still of course have to get to the music part. And just as every year, I thought I’d create a little playlist of my favorite tracks of 2018. Some might not be from this year, they might be really old, and some might be so new that I’ve just stumbled over them a few days ago, but just love so much that they need to be in this list. Every single song has a special meaning to me, some may even be connected to a certain memory or moment of this year. Some may be new to you, some may won’t, as I might have already shared them with you. But, in total, they all mean a lot to me and I dearly hope you enjoy them just as much as I do.

Jumpsuit – Twenty One Pilots

If there is one song that completely blew my mind this year, then it’s this one right here.

Pictures of Girls – Wallows

According to Spotify, this is the song I’ve listened to the most this year and, frankly, I’m not surprised at all.

.
Live Outside – Enter Shikari

Completely fell for this one right here after hearing it live. Way too good to not listen to it. Way too good.

Bambi – Hippo Campus

Like Jumpsuit, this one once again completely surprised me, in the best way possible. Such a bop, honestly. The whole album is.

Surprise Yourself – Jack Garratt

I rediscovered this one a few months ago and can’t get enough of it ever since. This is literal art.

Tough – Lewis Capaldi

Lewis is definitely my musical find of the year. I’m so so so glad that I discovered him, he’s honestly such a gem. And yes, he is this good live. Breathtaking, I know.

Love It If We Made It – The 1975

Although I’m not a big fan of the album overall, this song has completely won my heart. It feels a bit like we’re back in 2013 and I love that.

Neon Gravestones – Twenty One Pilots

Lyrically this is the most important song of the year for me. Once you get behind the meaning of the lyrics, this song turns into this one special piece of art that will definitely go down in history. It’s that important. And this band is that important. Also, listen to Tyler’s voice. Please listen. Holy moly.

Hope There’s Someone – Avicii

I thought about leaving this space here blank and only adding a little caption at the end just like with the ones before. But I just can’t. 2018 is coming to an end now and although, music-wise, there have been so many incredible moments, I just want to take a second right here and once again remind us all of the fact that there were also some really heartbreaking moments. And for me, the most crushing one was definitely loosing the bright star called Tim Bergling aka Avicii. I felt my heart break the moment I heard about it this April and it’s just now that I notice how tears are rolling down my cheeks writing this and listening to this song and reminding myself of the fact that we really lost him. Tim was such an important part of my musical life and I still can’t fully believe he’s gone. But I know that he will never be forgotten because of his music. He’ll live on forever, in our hearts and on the dance floors of this world. But still, Tim, I miss you. Every single day.

There are no words.

Ain’t Coming Home – Badflite

Apart from Marty’s releases, this is probably my favorite track from the empire called STMPD Records. Listen to it and you’ll know why.

Flowerss – HALFNOISE

This is definitely one of those special tracks that I will forever have a special place in my playlist, it’s just way too extraordinary to ever forget about it.

Bear Claws – The Academic

What can I say? They’re The Academic and this is just a bop right here. Can’t get enough of it.

Y2k – The Montreals

If you haven’t given The Montreals a listen until now, please please do immediately. They’re one of those bands you really have to look out for in 2019.

Alright – Lacuna Bloome

I actually have to thank BIMM for introducing me to this band, as, believe it or not, this here is actually a band from my university. How amazing is that? And how freaking awesome is the song? Pure indie goodness.

Waiting For Tomorrow – Martin Garrix & Pierce Fulton ft. Mike Shinoda

I know I’ve already talked about this, but I’ve literally been waiting for this song forever. But the wait was so worth it. So damn good.

Butter – Leyya

Please, everyone, go and listen to this while driving and turn the volume all the way up. It’s literally the coolest feeling.

Feeling Lonely – boy pablo

This is actually my most recent find, thanks to the breathtaking lineup of next year’s Sziget festival. Thanks Sziget, can’t wait to spend a week with you next year.

Woes – Tom Rosenthal

Last but surely not least – incredibly sad and incredibly beautiful – just like everything that Tom does. And yes, of course he had to be part of this list. He should be part of everyone’s list.

.

So yeah guys, there you go. Those are my favorite songs of 2018 and the tracks that made this year the years it was and is. As I said, all of them have a special meaning to me and I love them all with every cell of my body. And I really really hope you enjoy them too. Also, I’m already so excited for what’s to come in 2019.

As always, please don’t hesitate to leave your thoughts and comments down below. And if you’ve got your Spotify statistics too, please do share them with me, I’d love to read them. Especially as I think that the music people listen to can tell you a lot about them too. Let’s be honest, music always was and still is something very intimate and personal and plain special. And that’s what I love so much about it.

Besides that, I hope you’re all doing good and wish you a nice rest of the weekend. I’m actually on my way home right now, so home home and I’m literally so damn excited. I can’t believe I haven’t been home for nearly three months. It feels like both the longest and the shortest period of time ever. And I can’t wait to finally see my pets again. Oh my god. And then it’s Christmas. God, I’m so excited. Anyways, like I said, I hope you’re all doing good and that you enjoyed this post right here. And, as always, thanks so much for reading.

Ps: On another note, something very very VERY exciting happened yesterday. Yes, you guessed right – the new Avengers trailer is out. Welcome to Avengers: Endgame. I can’t tell you how long I’ve waited for this trailer and now that it’s finally here, I can’t wrap my head around it. There’s literally nothing happening in it, but at the same time, everything is happening. And we all know that the scene at the beginning might be the death of me. I swear to everything and everyone, if they kill Tony, I’m gonna sue someone for my mental and emotional suffering. I’m not even kidding. Just please let this guy have a kid and retire with Pepper in peace. Can we please do that? Thank you.

New Music Monday

Hola everyone.

Welcome to a new week and welcome to a new Music Monday. I hope you all had an amazing weekend and are all doing good. And in order to start this week off just right, I thought I’d share some of my newest music loves with you guys. So please enjoy.

.

The Vaccines – Nightclub

I have to say when I first saw this song in my recommendations, I was a little bit skeptical. Mostly because I saw them live two years ago at Reading festival and let me just say, it wasn’t their best performance. So spotting that song in my playlist was a little surprising. But actually, I am so so happy that I gave it a chance, because this song is freaking amazing, no joke. Especially the beat and rhythm from the guitars are mind-blowingly good. It’s that kind of song where you just have to pop your head to it.

.

.

The Wombats – I Only Wear Black

This song is one of their new album called “Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life” and just to mention it, how freaking amazing is that title? It’s a masterpiece. And also this song here is so damn fantastic. And besides that it also fits perfectly, as I also love sticking to black outfits. And the song overall is just so fun to listen to.

.

.

Airways – White Noise Boys

This is a song I just found out about recently and immediately recognized – it’s of the band which supported Nothing But Thieves on their tour, which means that I basically already heard that song live. And yeah, it’s just so so good. I can really just recommend you giving this band a listen.

.

.

Bears in Trees – Good Rhymes for Bad Times

Another new edition to my playlist, which I’m so happy about. It’s just such a fun and uplifting song, it always puts a smile on my face.

.

.

HalfNoise – Flowerss

I know what you’re thinking while listening to this one – what a strange song. And yes, it is indeed pretty strange. But it’s also so so so good. It’s perfect for pretty much any situation, as it’s so relaxing and I don’t know, it just has such a cool vibe to it, I don’t know how to describe it. I like it very very much. Also, fun fact – it’s the musical project of Zac Farro, the drummer of Paramore. How freaking cool is that? No wonder the song is such an amazing piece of music.

.

.

Tom Rosenthal – Got Gold

Guys, I have the best news ever – Tom is back with new music and it’s so damn good, I can already feel myself falling deeper and deeper in love with his music, if that’s even possible. I’m so thankful for finding Tom and his music, I don’t know what I’d do without it. And this song here is no different.

.

.

Kytes – Inner Cinema

Don’t you guys love it when a concert introduces you to a new band? Maybe you fall in love with the support act or maybe, as in my case, you hear a song being played while waiting for the band to come on stage and you can feel yourself listening to it and enjoying it. And then you get your Shazam app out and save the song and there you have it, a new amazing song for you to enjoy. And this song is Inner Cinema by Kytes for me. I heard it at the The Hunna gig and I just fell for it. It’s such a good song and such a cool band.

.

.

Ed Sheeran – Live in Dublin

And last but not least, it is my duty as a Sheerio to present you this beauty of a one and a half hour long, complete live show by the one and only Ed Sheeran. I recently watched it again and I guess that I don’t have to mention that I pretty much cried my eyes out because my heart was nearly bursting due to all the hurt and love I felt at the same time. See, that’s how Ed and his music make me feel. It’s a damn emotional rollercoaster. But that’s what I love about it, about him. And this show right here, it just perfectly shows how unbelievably talented he is. I mean, please really go and check out the show, you won’t regret it, I swear. I was speechless while watching him sing his heart out, his talent is just too much to cope with. I’m so thankful that I get to live in the same time period as him and that I get to be his fan. Because, I mean, just look at and listen to him. Literally perfect.

.

.

So yeah guys, there you go. Those are the songs I’ve been listening to the past weeks. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Oh and please don’t hesitate to leave your thoughts down below. And, as always, I wish you all an amazing week and thanks for reading. x

Playlist Update

Hola everyone.

Okay, so, today I thought I’d start off this month in the best way possible and give the music playlist a little update and present you guys some of the songs I’ve been loving the most the past few weeks.

.

But first things first – let’s talk about my interview with BIMM. I have to say, the moment I ended the call, I thought it was all over. I mean, I immediately called a friend of mine to chat about it and basically squeal into her ears, but after that, I kind of had the feeling that I hadn’t done well enough to secure my spot at the university. Which would actually break my heart, but let’s not think about that and stay as positive as we can.

.

Anyway, overall I think the interview went pretty well, especially as the nice woman I talked to said that she thought that I was perfect for the course and that she would recommend me for it and send that to the office of the university. Which is like THE THING I wanted to hear. I mean, being told that you are perfect for a course you want to do so so so so bad is like birthday and christmas altogether. I was soooo happy. But I mean, of course I could have done much better. You can’t imagine how nervous I was, goodness. And I’m pretty sure that if I would have had just a little bit more time to think about  my answers, I could’ve come up with better ones. But I guess that’s what we all think after important meetings or interviews. Now I can just wait and hope for the best – which is a place at the uni, of course. God, I want this so bad. Please let me be able to do this degree, please please please.

.

So, that was my interview. I will of course keep you updated – maybe I’ll email the university and ask them how long it will take them to make a decision, because on the website I applied through it says that they have time until the 8th of May and if I seriously have to wait that long, I’ll basically freak out. I’m literally the most impatient person ever, especially when it comes to such important things like a freaking uni application. Oh my god.

.

But okay, there’s that. Now, let’s move on to the most important part of this post, the music playlist update. As you know, I basically live off Spotify, I have no idea what I’d do without it. And I just listen to music, day after day after day. Especially now as I am on my break and have more time available to really enjoy and appreciate all the good music out there. As you all know, I am more the indie-kind-of-person, but I am pretty much open to anything. So, without further ado, here are some songs I love and which I’d highly recommend to you as well. Please enjoy.

.

Boys That Sing – Viola Beach

Whenever I hear the name Viola Beach, I get this sad feeling in my stomach. It’s weird to listen to music from someone who doesn’t live anymore, isn’t it? I know that they could’ve become a big thing, but they already are for me. I just love their music, they were so talented, which this song perfectly shows. The beat is freaking amazing. I hope by sharing this with you guys I can pay tribute to them.

.

.

Dancing on Quicksand / Daft Pretty Boy – Bad Suns

This is a band I’ve somehow always had in my Spotify playlist, but never really knew who they were and what other songs they had. That changed when I just let Spotify do it’s thing two weeks ago and present me any song I would presumably like. And there it was, this amazing band with its amazing songs. And I can’t even help it, one song isn’t enough. So, here are two of my faves.

.

.

.

Bishops Knife Trick – Fall Out Boy

This is my favorite song of the boys newest album “MANIA” and I have to say, it’s freaking fantastic. I just love everything about it. Patricks voice, the beat, the guitars, everything. I just love it. Thank god for this song, this awesome album and this band. Also, I can’t wait to see them in London next month. I’m already so excited, oh my god.

.

.

To The Sea – Seafret ft. Rosie Carney

As always, there can’t be a playlist without a little slow, romantic song, so here it is. You all probably know Seafret, they are a pretty popular band for songs we all know and mostly hear in movies, but never know who they are from. Well, now you do. And this wonderful piece here has to be my personal favorite.

.

.

Number 13 – Nothing But Thieves

This song is kind of a stable in any of my playlists, especially after this breathtaking concert on Thursday. I can’t even begin to tell you how exciting it is to sing the Whoop in the song live, together with the band, with Conor. Definitely something I’ll never forget.  And I already miss them so much. Also, this song is basically a banger, live and as a studio version.

.

.

Piece By Piece – The Hunna

This is a band I know I’ve told you guys about quite a few times by now, but I’m just so intrigued by their music, I just have to share it with you over and over again. Recently I came across this song and I totally fell for it again and yeah, please do have a listen. Also, I am seeing this incredible band live in less than two weeks and I just can’t freaking wait.

Misery Business – Paramore

And last but not least, I just had to include this awesome piece of music by the marvelous Paramore, because I’ve been completely in love with their music for the last months and this song right here is a classic, I can’t believe it’s already over ten years old. How crazy is that? That’s music history right there. Whenever I need a push, I listen to this song, sing a little, scream a little, do a little air drumming and then I am happy again.
