My picnic party

Hola everyone.

As you all know, I’m a reallyyyyy huge youtube-fangirl and I watch a lot of different youtubers. One of those youtubers is the so well-known Zoe Sugg aka Zoella. A week ago or something like that she posted a stunning video of a picnic party she threw for and with her friends and I was fascinated from the first second on. I wanted to be able to throw such a fabulous party too, I just needed a reason.

.

And last week I got it. This is actually the biggest news EVER, so get excited. A few months ago I applied for an internship at a super famous media and TV company in Berlin. And last week they actually sent me an email that said that I got accepted. Which meaaaans that I’m actually moving to Berlin in November. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. I know, it’s faaaaar to crazy, I still haven’t realized it. I’m not even able to just imagine it, it’s just so overwhelming. So yeah, actually fulfilling that huuuuuge dream of mine and move to another city for a few months was quite a good reason so throw a little party for me and my best friend.

.

I have to say, it was awesome. The weather was perfect, I tried to decorate our garden (not as nice as Zoella, but oh well), made some punch, brought snacks and prepared a noodle salad. And then we just sat outside in the sun, enjoying ourselves and the world. It was perfect. And even Molly joined us. I’m really happy that I got to do it. And I can just tell you that if any of you ever get the chance to do a picnic, DO IT. Seriously. It’s so cool and nice and relaxing to sit in the sun, chat with your friends and just enjoy life. And you don’t even need much – a blanket, a nice spot in a field, park or garden, some snacks and drinks and of course your friends. And that’s everything you need to have a evening you’ll remember for a loooong time. If any of you want to know more about my picnic or want recipes for the punch or the salad, just hit me up. And until then I hope you enjoyed this post and the pics down below and of course, as always, thanks for reading. x

VIS – Film Festival

Hola everyone.

I have to say there a lot of exciting things happening right now. One of those things is the film festival I’m attending right now. It’s a festival for short film, animation and music video (VIS) in Vienna.

.

It started a few days ago and will continue until Thursday next week, so there’s a lot more to come and I have to say, I’m really excited. Although, to be honest, I’ve never really gotten in contact with short movies before. As the movie lover I am, I only cried about the usually long ones – the longer, the better, actually. That’s why I’m even more excited about the festival and super happy that I can attend it. I still don’t want to give away everything now, but as you can probably guess already, I took my camera with me and took some nice pics which I’d like to share with you. If any of you would like to know more about the festival, don’t hesitate to hit up. And until then, I hope you enjoyed this post and, as always, thanks for reading. x

.

Ps: I’m sorry for posting so late. Actually I posted this blogpost yesterday, but somehow WordPress thought to do me not-so-good favor and just delete it. Thanks WordPress. Anyway, I’m really sorry.

HOME

Hola everyone.

As I’m currently enjoying some relaxing time at home; I thought I’d share some impressions that mean home to me. Moments and things that describe the feelings you get when you’re at home. Those feelings nothing else can cause. You know what I mean.

Enjoy. And as always, if you want to talk, I’m here, and thanks for reading. x

Welcome Spring

Hola everyone.

Spring is cooooming. FINALLY. And as you can probably guess by now, I thought why not dedicate a post to this beautiful season. So I literally just stepped out into our garden at home and started taking pictures. It was amazing. To see how all the nature around me starts to become alive again and all the bees and other animals come out again and it just makes everything so much nicer when the whole world is so colorful and full of life.

.

Of course, Peaches and Molly assisted me with the whole photography process, especially Peaches, who followed me literally everywhere (I love her so much for that). So yeah, I hope you like the pictures and are as happy as me about the fact that spring is finally here. If any of you want to talk, I’m here, and until then, as always, thanks for reading. x

The 1975

Hola everyone.

Soooooo, it finally happened. I finally saw The 1975 again after 3 years and seriously, I couldn’t be happier. Really. I don’t even know what to say or where to start. I’m just sooo happy, I still have a bright smile on my lips and my voice still hasn’t recovered completely. That shows how amazing it was.

.

Anyway, I think it would be best to start with the history I share with this extremely special band. Three years ago I went to my first real concert, the Two Door Cinema Club concert I already told you about. The funny thing is that I didn’t know much about music at that point, my knowledge began and ended with Justin Bieber. So I had no idea who the support acts of TDCC were. And guess what? It was The 1975. And even better, when I first heard their music, I didn’t like it all. Like for real. I thought that the second support act, Dog Is Dead, was better. And when the concert was over, the two bands got in the main area so that people could talk to them. And being the crazy girl not knowing anything in music, I just walked past Matty and went over to the other band to talk to them. How crazy is that? I mean, I could have taken a picture with the whole band, talked to Matty and whatelse. But nope, not with me.

.

Actually, I laugh about it now. The band I didn’t like three years ago is now one of my most favourite bands and the singer who I thought was REALLY weird because he was half naked and smoked on stage is now one of those guys I tell other people about that they have the most amazing voices ever. It’s just crazy. So crazy and unbelieveable.

.

Soooo, the concert. It was uuuuunbelieveable, really. First of all I need to say that I’ve never seen someone who is like Matty, seriously. He literally LIVES the music and his band. And he smokes and drinks wine out of a glass while singing, how crazy is that? And he acts like a model on the runway, doing one pose after another, with that typical model expression on his face. Besides that his voice is extraordinary amazing. I really love his voice. And they are all so good live, it’s breathtaking.

.

Thank god my friend Hannah and me got there early, especially Hannah who waited outside for over an hour. Now we had amazing places really close to the stage. The crowd went crazy when they finally got on stage and the beat of Love Me started playing. I felt like I was in heaven. But the most amazing moment was when I heard the music of Robbers and got goosebumps everywhere. I nearly started crying while screaming the lyrics of this song. And of course the last moment when they played Sex and everyone was going completely crazy and was screaming out the lyrics. It felt like we were in another world, our small world full of happiness, far too hot weather and amazing music. And oh my god, their stage was sooooooo beautiful. It was pure aesthetics. The colors and the lightening and everything, it was so amazing. Hannah and me were starstruck.

.

Overall I’m soooooo damn happy that I went to their concert and it couldn’t have been any better, really. I loved every single moment of it. And I can’t wait to see them again in summer when my mum and me will hopefully fly to England to go to Reading festival.

.

If any of you visited one of their concerts or love the band as much as me, I’d be happy to talk to you and exchange memories and fangirl moments. And until then, as always, thanks for reading. x

Milan haul

Hola everyone.

As you all know I’ve just been in the shopping city in Italy, in Milan. And of course I went shopping (duh). So as I was thinking about my post for today, I thought why not integrate some fashion and shopping aspects in my blog and post some pictures of all the things I bought in Milan. Here we go.

.

Clothing

I went to Milan hoping to find a new spring jacket, thinking about those new light trench coats that are trending right now. And to my luck, I found the perfect jacket. It’s a dark red-orange jacket from Bershka and I love it soon much, although it’s not a trench coat. I especially love the color, because it brings some life into my wardrobe, as I’m mostly wearing dark colors.

.

My mum and me also went to Brandy Melville, one of the coolest stores at the moment. And of course I found something. I got a grey alien t-shirt, that is, I think, almost typical for the brand, and a black light dress which is perfect for summer. I think one of the best aspect of the brand are the materials they use for their clothing. It’s so damn comfy.

.

.

Accessories

Actually, I’m not sure what my relationship to accessories is. I love them and I buy them, but I only wear like 2 or 3 and those are always the same ones. But I still love them. I love wearing necklaces, bracelets, rings and so on. And looking at them. Feeling beautiful wearing them. It brings some kind of magic touch to every outfit. And of course I looked out for some cute little things in Milan and found them at the seriously last minute. They all have some kind of hippie-boho aspect to them, so they are perfect for summer and the festival season. Oh and if you’re interested, I got them at Pull and Bear, which is another amazing store I always enjoy going shopping to.

.

.

This and that

As I knew that Milan is such an important fashion metropolis and as I felt it as soon as I stepped out of the door, I thought of buying something that screams fashion. As we walked past a bookstore, I saw a Vogue book in the window and asked my mum for a little shopping spree in the store. The staff members told me that the store had it’s own department for fashion and I was starstruck. I rushed there immediately and quickly found the place with every fashion magazine you can think of. First I thought about buying the Vogue, but then I saw a cute little grey book with pink letters on it and I knew that this one was the book I had been looking for. It’s a little fashion dictionary by Christian Dior, so it describes every characteristic of fashion. But I think even looking at it makes you happy, it’s just too cute.

.

The other thing I bought is a journal wrapped in a fabric cover with a boho pattern. I saw it at the end of a Pull and Bear store next to the checkout and fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for cute and unique journals, although I  look at them more than I use them. But I know that they all once will be full of my writing and until then I enjoy looking at them as much as I can.

.

The last things I got – and always a must for me – are two little postcards, one from Milan, the other one from New York City. Whenever I visit a new city or country, I always buy a postcard with the name of the country on it for my wall in my room. So the wall is like a place where I pin all of my memories onto and it makes me very happy to look at it everyday and remember all the experiences I’ve made and all the places and people I’ve seen in my life.

.

.

So, there it is. My haul in Milan. And as you probably see on the pictures, my cat enjoyed taking the pictures and enjoying all of the new things too. She’s such a cutie. Oh and if any of you want to talk about shopping or anything else, I would be happy to talk to you. And until then, I hope you enjoyed this post and, as always, thanks for reading. x
