What is happening?

Hola everyone.

Soooo, first of all. Did you notice the change of the design? I know it’s not that much, just the colors and the fond but I really really like it. I think it’s simple and refreshing. Also, I love the colorful streets of Copenhagen, as you can see in the header. Oh and besides that, the blog domain is working and I couldn’t be happier. It’s so strange to have my own little website now, but the good kind of it.

.

Anyways, I’m really happy with everything and just wanted to inform you guys about the things I’m up to next week. So, as many of you probably know, I am attending the Berlin Fashion Week next week. And yes, that’s freaking unbelievable, I KNOW. And it’s already starting on Monday, with a conference by a magazine and – and now hold your horses –  VOGUE. I am going crazy, not even kidding. The editor-in-chief of the german Vogue, Christiane Arp, will be there too. I seriously can’t believe this is happening. And I’m so excited. To be there. To see all of these cool people and journalists and designers. And to learn and experience what it feels like to work in this field, the field I want to call mine when I’m older. Holy moly.

.

Unfortunately I will have to come back from my fashion heaven on Friday again and I’m really sorry but this will be the first time you’ll hear something from me again from today on. I know, why the hell am I doing that? I know this is very exciting and not just for me, but the internet situation is really complicated here in Berlin for me and I won’t get back to my office before Friday so keeping you posted is close to be ing impossible. But please don’t loose all hope just now, because I will actually be posting stuff and keeping you guys updated on my Instagram page (link: instagram). Like post pictures of my outfits, which yes are very important. I’ve worked on them since I got the invitation. And tell you what is going on an post pics of the venues and of course the clothes there. And I know I sound like on of those internet people that are like “go do this, do that, subscribe to me, follow me”, but in all seriousness, I’d love to be able to tell you guys what’s going on and reach as much of you as I can.

.

So, there you have it. Actually, I just want to fully experience the next week, as much of it as I can. Because this is a huge thing for me, seriously. And I don’t know when I’ll be able to attend another Fashion Week again, so I want to enjoy it as much as I can. Just me and my camera. And a whole lot of other things that will be waiting there for me.

.

I really hope that you aren’t too mad at me, I’m really sorry. And I hope you still enjoyed this post. I’ll “see” you again next Friday. Thanks for being here. I wish you all an amazing weekend. And as always, thanks for reading. x

.

Ps: this is also my 100st post and I can’t believe it. This is so crazy. When I started this blog I didn’t know what would happen. Maybe I would stop enjoying this after like one month, but here we are, 100 postings later. I want to thank you guys for being here, reading my posts and giving me the chance to share all the things I love with the world. You are amazing. Thank you. And here’s to hundred more (and more and more and more and more…)

Winter Wonderland

Hola everyone.

So, it’s snowing. Finally. And I don’t know why, but this year I kind of really enjoy it when I’m outside and even in Berlin and not at home – usually I hate all the mud everywhere. And to be honest, when you look outside the window and the snowflakes are dancing around in the air, you just can’t help feeling a little romantic inside.

.

And because I thought that it was so beautiful outside, I wrapped myself up in huge amounts of clothing and went for a little adventure with my camera. And of course I had to show you my best snaps. So, here they are. Enjoy.

Also, I just got an upgrade for my blog, so this little space here is now called “thatlemonlife.blog” (as soon as the upgrade is finished in a few hours). I seriously have my own website now. How freaking cool is that? God, I’m so excited. Also, by doing that, I will now make some changes on the site, change the design and so on. I hope you’ll love it as much as me when it’s finished. That’s a new era guys, a new era.

.

Oh, and thanks for being here and reading my blog and paying attention to the little dreamer know as myself. I hope you all had a great start of this week and are feeling happy. I really hope you enjoy this post and my pictures. And as always, thanks for reading. x

He is back

Hola everyone.

Oh my god. It’s happened. Finally. He is back. Edward Christopher Sheeran is finally back. Say it louder for those in the back. Thank you god. And yes, you guessed it right. I am beyond excited. BEYOND.

.

Guys, you know how much of a fan I am of Ed. I mean, I freaking love him. There’s this one special little space in my heart that just exists for him. Nobody else has excess to this, just him. And after seeing and hearing him again today, this space literally takes up my whole heart. Holy moly, I still can’t get over it.

.

I really really really hope that all of you guys already had the chance to gives his two new singles a listen. I mean, you cannot not listen to them. He is all over the internet right now. And already toping the charts, which is soooo damn crazy. How long have the songs been out now? 10 hours? That’s unbelieveable, seriously.

.

But I get it. They are perfect. They deserve the first and second spot in the charts. And all the apprecitaion. And I love how Ed shows us a new side of his talent. His single „Shape Of You“ is like the perfect radio and party song. Because it’s literally about going out and meeting a girl there. For me, it really reminds me a lot of Justins new songs, especially the beat. It’s just an awesome, totally catchy single that won’t leave the radio charts for a loooong time, that’s for sure.

.

And now let’s talk about the other song. The song that made me fall in love with Ed even more – „Castle On The Hill“. This is something I would call angelic. The song is an hommage to Ed’s childhood, to his friends and I love it. It’s so personal and deep and his perfect voice and the beats of the guitar just fit in together so well. A match made in heaven. Seriously. Also, he did a live version of it just today at BBC Radio and it’s even better than the studio version, if you ask me. Because that’s just him. Him and his guitar, like it always was.

.

To be honest I can’t even begin to tell you guys how excited I am for his new album ÷ – or “Divide” – and for the new tour, of course. I swear, I’ll step onto a plane for this guy. And like it’s always with him, it’s just going to be as good as all his other stuff, maybe even better – like he said.

.

So guys, please please please go and have a listen at the two songs. And tell me what you think about them, I’m so curious whether you like them or not. And until, I hope you enjoyed this post and as always, thanks for reading. x

New year, fresh start

Hola everyone.

And Happy New Year, of course. I hope you all had an amazing start of 2017. But let’s be honest, Ed Sheeran already saved it by announcing that he’ll let the world hear some of his music THIS FRIDAY. I am so damn excited, I nearly got a heart attack yesterday.

.

But seriously, I really hope this year is already going well for all of you guys and if it doesn’t, there’s still plenty of time to turn it all around. So let’s focus on staying positive and happy. Right?

.

For me, this year or let’s say the beginning of this year really means a lot to me. In particular in connection to this blog. You all know that I love writing and blogging and talking to you and just being on here. And now that I’ve had this blog for nearly a year now and 2017 has come, I felt that it was time for some changes. Actually, this is a pretty big ting for me, but I feel that the time has come and that I am ready to do this.

...

So, I don’t know if you noticed it, but I always kept this blog here as my own little space on the internet. Partly anonymous too. Which I want to change now. I want to get this blog out there, out in the world. That’s why I created my own Facebook page and Instagram account solely for this blog. It’s my way of connecting some little more and sharing what I love with more people than before. Of course all the links will be right down at the end of this post and you can also get to the pages by clicking on the links right up there.

.

Actually I was never really a fan of either Facebook or Instagram, but after talking to friend, who told me that I should really get my “talent” out there and some reassurance by my mum, I made the decision to just try it out. I really really really hope you like it.

.

And the other thing I wanted to share with you guys is some little more information about me. I always felt that it was right to keep my privacy, even on here. But I noticed that it also kinda disconnects me and I don’t want that. So here comes some more information about me:

  • yes, my name is Laura
  • I’m 20 years old, turning 21 in 3 months (yey, finally legal in America)
  • I’m from a small town in Austria
  • I’m studying journalism and communication in Vienna
  • I speak German, but some weird dialect kind of it, which I totally love
  • I still live with my parents at home with my dog and my cat
  • I’m really weird and crazy and pretty much in love with life

.

And that is me with my face:

.

And this is me a few days ago with the teddy I got from my friend. He’s called Ed. Yes, I love him:

.

This is literally the first time I ever showed my face on here. Actually, I never noticed that, not before my friend told me, which is crazy. But hey, I did it now. And I’m seriously really excited for your reactions. For real. I hope you all like my decision and what I’m heading to with this blog and that you are as happy about it as me. I love this blog and being on here and I really hope you do too.

.

Oh, and here are all the links I talked about:

  • Instagram account – link
  • Facebook account – link

.

So, there you go. New exciting things are happening and as I said, I hope you’ll stick by me. And maybe this blog will just grow bigger and better. Every single day. If any of you want to know more or just chat, I’m here. And until then, I hope you enjoyed this post and, as always, thanks for reading. x

Bye Bye 2016

Hola everyone.

Yes, it’s really happening. 2016 is finally leaving us. And to be honest, apart from how amazing this year was for my personal life, it was horrible for the rest of the world. For our society. Our planet. Our system. And we all know why. And what brought us here.

.

But let’s not focus on the bad things, right? I mean, 2017 is coming. A new year. A new chance to make it better. To do good. To change the world, change our lives. And do whatever makes us happy. And the rest of the world too. Because there is nothing more important than spreading happiness and love and doing good. That’s how we can turn our beautiful mother earth into a better place for us all.

.

And speaking of that, I also have some new year resolutions:

  • don’t pressure myself so much when it comes to exam
  • still rock my study and university
  • meet new people and make new friends
  • laugh and love more
  • try as hard as I can to fulfill my dreams
  • work on this blog as hard as I can
  • post the most exciting things for you guys
  • spread love
  • cuddle with my babies
  • spend time with my family and my friends
  • do what I love and what makes me happy
  • travel and see the world
  • be a little bit more sporty
  • read more books
  • make other people happy, also you

.

There they are. I probably have more things I want to work on, some will probably come up through the year. And I will try my best to fulfill them all. And to make myself and everyone in my surroundings as happy as I can. Honestly, this year has been incredible for me. University worked out pretty good. I got my internship in Berlin and for real got to move there. I visited Reading festival with my mum and had the opportunity to see all of my favorite bands. Mum and me travelled to Brighton and to Copenhagen, two of the most beautiful cities ever. I read so many books which was and still is very important to me. I made a lot new friends at Uni. And I started this blog, which still makes me more and mire happy every single day. And a lot more, of course. So many things happened. And so many things will be happening. And I couldn’t be any more excited.

.

I can only hope that all of you also had an amazing year, apart from all the negative things that happened in this world. And that you are happy. And that you look forward to 2017. And speaking of that, I’d love to hear your new year resolutions, so don’t hesitate to tell me, okay? And until then, I hope you enjoyed this post. And as always, thanks for reading. Here’s to 2017. x

Merry Christmas

Hola everyone.

How are you guys? I hope you are all doing as good as me. And yes, I’m having an amazing time. First of all, it’s freaking Christmas. The days you spend time with your loved ones, your family, your friends. And it’s all about doing good, having fun, being happy and spreading love. How couldn’t you be happy at this time? And also, I am home. Finally. God, I’m so happy. But guys, if any of you aren’t as lucky as me – I know holidays aren’t always the easiest time – please know that I am always here for you and that you are strong an loved.

.

Actually, I just again wanted to wish you guys an amazing festive time with your family and friends. And that you have a lot of fun. And feel the love. And receive great presents. And just feel entirely happy.

.

I’m not sure if any of you want to know how I spent Christmas Eve, but maybe you are like me and really care about that, so I’ll just give you guys a short summary.

.

My Christmas

So, it kind of started with me finishing up the presents for my parents, which I actually love. Like, don’t you just love decorating presents and wrapping them into a christmas paper and putting them under the tree and seeing how all the colors fit and everything sparkles? Because I certainly do.

.

And after that we drove to grandmas where the family met up, like every year. Which I enjoyed so freaking much. I didn’t get to see them for over two whole months, so I loved meeting up with them again.

.

The hours went by so quickly and then it was already time for us to leave and drive back again to celebrate Christmas at home. Honestly, I had nothing to wish for this year. Because I already have everything I need and even more. More than I could have ever wished for. And me being at home with my family was the biggest gift ever. But as my parents are the best ever, they still got me some more stuff:

  • a book with 366 questions for me to answer every year for three years so I can see my development when it’s finished, which is so dreamy and cute and something that is so perfect for me and fits me like nothing else
  • a subscription for one whole year for one of my most favorite fashion magazines (yey, another thing I can look forward to every month)
  • a beautiful card – of course – and a small notebook for my to-do-lists, which I REALLY needed
  • and an Amazon Echo, which is a supercool speaker that thinks and learns and pretty much does whatever I tell it to do – like play music, so it’s again perfect for me

.

And after opening the presents, it was already like 11 pm and we shortly decided to end the evening by cuddling on the couch. Actually we put on the first Harry Potter movie, so it couldn’t have been any better. Oh and I also took some pictures throughout the whole day. As always the best ones are right at the end of the post. Please enjoy.

.

So yeah, that was my Christmas Eve with my family. But the christmassy mood is still on, of course. I’d really love to here what you did this year, so don’t hesitate to hit me up. And until then, I hope you enjoyed this post, and Merry Christmas again and as always, thanks for reading. x
