England I’m coming

Hola everyone.

I just wanted to give you guys a little update on what’s happening right now and the next few days. So, as you can probably guess by the title, I’m going on holiday. FINALLY. Yey yey. We’re flying to Manchester this weekend and then visit Blackpool and maybe Liverpool, we haven’t decided yet.

.

And I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am. I haven’t been on a holiday since Zürich and that was in March. So it’s really about time. And I can’t wait to visit another part of the UK. I’ve already visited London (of course), Brighton and Reading. And I loved every single city, with London being my favorite place, so I’m pretty sure I’ll love this trip too. And of course I’ll be taking my so beloved camera with me and then be back next Friday with my story about out little trip and the best pics. I’m already so happy, I know it’s going to be amazing.

.

What else? Oh yeah, guess what I found in the mail today? My tickets for the first concert to see Ed next year. And oh my god, they look amazing. And they really have my name on it, which is so damn cool. It feels so special. And yes, I teared up a bit. And no, I still haven’t realized it. But that’s fine, I still have 386 days (yes, I counting) to let it completely get to my head. I just can’t handle it, I’m so damn happy and I feel so lucky to see him again. Even twice. Holy moly.

.

So yeah guys, that’s my little update for you. Due to the vacation, I won’t be posting anything until the next Friday, but at least I will be back than with a big, long post and amazing pictures. So, get excited. And until then I hope you enjoyed this post and I wish you all an amazing week. And, as always, thanks for reading, x

My time in Croatia

Hola everyone.

You know I love photography. And I love it the most when I get to travel to different places and experience all of its beauty through the lens of my camera. Somehow it just increases its beauty for me. And like I said in my previous post, today I’d very much like to show you all the nicest pictures I took while enjoying my time in Croatia on a short holiday trip.

.

Overall I loved every single second of my trip. It has seriously been a while since I last saw the sea and enjoying a little time at the beach for a few days really calmed me down again. I was able to forget all of my duties and everything about uni. There was just happiness and fun and I loved it. I’m really thankful I got to be on the trip.

.

But now let’s get to the most important part – the pictures. I really hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I know they are quite a lot, but I just couldn’t decide to take less. And please don’t hesitate to tell me your opinions. I wish you all an amazing weekend and happy easter holidays. And, as always, thanks for reading. x

.

Zürich

Hola everyone.

As you know, I love photography. And as I just got to see Zürich last weekend, I just had to take my camera with me (of course) and take some pictures. And I also love sharing them with you, so I thought why not just do that today?

.

Oh and if you’re interested, I had an amaaaaazing birthday. Really. I went to a supercool restaurant with my parents and my grandma and then visited my cousin due to the fact that he and his family just got the cutest little puppy ever and I just wanted to spend my day with a puppy – because who doesn’t want that? And then the day ended with my mum and me snuggled up on the couch with a new tv series playing. Wonderful. But I have to say, being 21 doesn’t really feel different. I still feel young enough to swing myself around in shopping carts and roll down the aisles. So, here’s to feeling young.

.

Anyways, I’m doing really good at the moment – fantastic actually – and I just wanted to share some of my beautiful memories with you guys through my pictures. I hope you like them as much as I do. And please don’t hesitate to leave a comment. And as always, thanks for reading. x

It’s happening

Hola everyone.

I know, where the hell have I been? To be honest, there’s only one thing I can say – I’m sick. Since Monday. And I hate being sick, oh my god I hate it so much. I had so many things planned for this week and I literally couldn’t do ANYTHING. So I’m sorry for disappearing a lot in the past time.

.

But I don’t want to whine. Actually I want to talk about the most amazing thing that is happening this week. I am flying to Zürich. To see freaking Edward Christopher Sheeran live. I waited 3 years to be able to say this again and holy moly, it feels amaziiiiiing. I’m so happy, I can’t even tell you how much. I’ve got like the perfect seats right next to the stage and everything planned and I. CAN’T. WAIT:

.

And of course I’ll tell you everything about it when I come home again, which would be Friday for you, as I’m getting home on Monday night. So, get excited.

.

I just really hope that I’ll be well enough again on Sunday to enjoy the concert to its fullest. It really means A LOT to me.

.

And apart from that I hope you’re all doing good and feeling well. And I wish you all an amazing weekend. And as always, don’t hesitate to comment something, and thanks for reading. x

My weekend with mum and Merry Christmas

Hola everyone.

Christmas is just around the corner. Can you believe it? Because I certainly can’t, to be honest. The days just went by so quickly, it’s crazy. And as I told you last week, I still have one thing to do – tell you about my weekend with mum here in Berlin when she visited me.

.

First of all I have to say that it was really really amazing. I loved spending time with her, it was like a small holiday. So what did we do? On the first evening we just spent some quality time at home. Actually I picked her up from the airport when she got here in the evening. And then we just got home in my apartment and chatted. The next day, after work, we went to have dinner in a vietnamese restaurant, which was freaking amazing. And then we visited my favorite place in the city, a huge book – and a lot of other stuff – store. Until midnight and I’m not even kidding. And yes, people seriously still buy books on a Friday night.

.

On Saturday we went a little shopping and then went to the cinema to see the oh so beautiful movie “About Ray”, which I already told you about in my last post. What a great movie, holy moly. And then we just strolled around in town, visited a supercute cat café and again went for dinner – Mexican this time. Oh and then we walked to a really nice christmas market where I drank probably the best punch (the christmasy beverage, not what you are thinking) I’ve ever had.

.

And then the last day had already come. So we tried to make the most of it and went for a little brunch and then visited the famous flea market at the mauerpark. If any of you guys ever get the chance to go to Berlin, please please please visit this market. It’s like most Berlin thing you’ll see. For real. And then it was already time to bring my mum back to the airport.

.

So yeah, that was our weekend. Doesn’t sound like much, but it was really packed and really awesome. I loved every single moment.

.

Guys, I’d still like to talk about some other stuff. I know you’ve all probably heard about the terrorist attack here in Berlin. And yes, I’m alright. Actually before my dad had called me, I didn’t even know anything about it. After all those nice days with mum that really brought me back to earth, right to the ground. I was extremely shocked. I mean, terror isn’t something new, not this year (2016, we really need to talk). But being in like the same city, just a few miles away from the place of the attack is different. Too different for me to process it completely. I’m extremely sad for all the people who were affected by the attack and can just hope that next year will be better. I mean, we are all humans, we live on such a beautiful planet, why can’t we all just live in peace?

.

But christmas is coming, so let’s concentrate on the nice things, right? Anyways, I just wanted to thank you guys for being here and for reading my blog. You make me so happy, every single day of my life. I started this blog because I wanted to try it. I was curious. And I liked the idea of sharing the things I love and happiness with the world, with all of you. And I’ve loved it ever since. More and more every day. And let me tell you, 2017 is going to be a good year, a big one. I have a lot of things planned, a lot of them are just about to happen, so stay tuned. I hope you’re as excited as me. And until then, I wish you all the most amazing christmas and a beautiful time with your loved ones. Oh and if you want to, I’d be really excited to hear what you are all doing this christmas. I’m actually flying home today and I’m soooo excited, oh my god. So, I’ll “see” you all next week. Happy holidays and merry christmas. And as always, thanks for reading. x  hohoho

.

Ps: Snow is actually falling on my blog, how freaking cute is that? Oh my god

Reading festival – Day 3

Hola everyone.

And welcome back. Today is the day I’ll be talking about the last and probably most exciting day of the super amazing and perfect Reading festival. And about the end of one of the best weekends ever. So, let’s go.

.

The third and last day started with another again little shopping trip. After leaving our money in Readings best stores, mum and I got ready for our last day at the festival. And I can tell you, I was soooooo damn excited. Because today would be the day I’d finally see Fall Out Boy after waiting for that moment for years. I couldn’t believe it and actually can’t until now. It’s just too crazy.

.

The first band we went to was Clean Cut Kid. A cool indie band I had known from my Spotify playlists. So I really wanted to listen to them live. I thought they were pretty cool, but unfortunately my mum didn’t enjoy them as much as me. Right after they ended their set, we ran over to the main stage to try and get a great spot for Fall Out Boy, of course. This was, unfortunately, really really hard. We got there pretty early but it was so packed already. Although there was one band scheduled even before FOB, there were so many people there already waiting for them. Like us, they just got there to have a good spot. Mum and I were quite close to the front of the second barrier, but I wanted – needed – to get a spot right at the barrier. Those are just the best spots, because you’re not pressed into a group of people and there’s nobody in front of you who can block your view. So this was really really important to me. When the next band, The Vaccines, got on stage we were in the second row, but with a huuuuge woman in front of us, so we couldn’t see much, especially my mum. I even asked her to swap places with me and do you know what, she plainly said no. I thought she was joking. She was there alone, had the best spot ever and didn’t even stand there to see FOB. She just said that she didn’t want to be in the middle because of moshpits or so. ONE FREAKING METER IS NOT IN THE MIDDLE. WHAT THE HELL.

.

I was soooo freaking mad. And so close to giving up. It was just all too much. The Vaccines were playing one bad song after another, mainly because the lead singer was for sure drunk or high or both, I had this super tall woman right in front of me and people were pushing me from behind. That was really rough. And then we had to wait another 30 minutes for FOB to come on stage and then I realized something. I would be seeing FOB in a few minutes. I had waited for this moment for years. And NOBODY and NOTHING would ruin this moment for me. So I let all the worries slip off me and got so damn excited.

.

And then it happened. Freaking Fall Out Boy got on stage and started playing. And then the best thing ever happened. There was a family right in front of us with a small girl who was a total fan, so when they got on stage, one girl of the family and my friend, the tall woman, held her on her shoulders. To do that, they had to get closer together which just caused enough space for me right at the barrier to slip in. I was finally in the front row. Exactly when they music started.

.

And then I just had one of the best one and a half hours of my life. I cried immediately when I saw them and heard them. And I think I’ve never cried this much at a concert. I was so overwhelmed. I for real had to calm myself down to not start bawling right there. I was so happy, oh my god. And they were so damn perfect, holy moly. Patrick, their lead singer, sounded like an angel, even better than on their albums – and I thought that this wasn’t even possible. And Pete said so many nice things, totally inspiring. And how they loved to be here. And I can tell you, I loved it too. I wanted them to go on forever and never ever stop.

.

I remember looking back at my mum, tears streaming down my cheeks and having the biggest smile on my face. And her reaction. I could see how happy she was for me. And I can’t even describe how much I love her for doing that and attending this festival with me.

.

After FOB, screaming out lyric like never before, crying like crazy and loving every second of my life, mum and I got back to another stage to get a glimpse of The Wombats and to get a good spot for The 1975. Which we luckily did. Oh and The Wombats were freaking amazing. Their music is really special, it gets you in a good mood after seconds. And I really love that. Like I said, The 1975 rocked the stage afterwards. Like some of you will probably know, I already saw them this year, but hey, you can never go to enough concerts and see them too many times. And yes, they freaking slayed again. Matty is just such an awesome singer and special person. And I loved the whole atmosphere. Everyone was just so happy, screaming out lyrics with an amazing band playing for them. I loooooved it. And after that, mum and I got some fish and chips and then went home.

.

And I couldn’t have been any happier. I had just seen so many of my favorite bands in a matter of three days, which is breathtaking, actually. I can’t even tell you how happy I still am that I got to experience this together with my mum. A perfect holiday, a perfect weekend, a perfect festival. And the happiest I could ever be. This is one of those things I’ll tell my children – which I will hopefully have – when I’m older. And hopefully I’ll be able to go to festivals and concert with them, like my mum and I. So I can make them as happy as I am right now.

.

So yeah, there you go. This was the last of a perfect weekend. I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it. If any of you want to chat, I’m here. Fell free to talk to me, I’d be happy to hear from you and talk about Fall Out Boy, maybe. And until then, as always, thanks for reading. x
